Art, Dreams and the Intutitive

Being a strong Dreamer from early years, dreams, the symbolic and intutitive have strongly influenced my life/being and art. From the intuitive I am compelled to bring what is sensed into form. The images are instructive for me with stories of my life and the life/voice of others/nature unfolding through the forms created. The materials reveal what wants to come and the material(s) choice is intuitive.

I work with a wide range of media and, guided by my intuition, have taken diverse art technique workshops to develop an array of skills to have at my fingertips… the skill in various media offers a wide palette and a resulting sense of freedom in my artmaking. 

My art takes me to new places in the world and myself and is a gift. When my art creates a connection with another person who finds resonance or inspiration from it, the  gift is sublime.
